The PTA is a very important part of out school community. It is through the PTA that parents and staff members interact for the mutual benefit of our children.

The PTA holds several social events during the school year that help build our school community spirit. They also sponsor fund raising events that, in turn, provide funds to purchase special materials and activities beyond the school budget. Finally, the PTA steps in whenever needed to provide for the health, safety and educational benefit of our children. Room parents, appointed by the PTA, will be in contact with parents on an ongoing basis.

The parents at Maimonides Academy are a very active and integral part of the education process at our school. The PTA which has a long line of distinguished leaders over the past 30 years is a well organized group which benefits the school with proceeds from numerous fund-raisers. Parent volunteers are plentiful, and their contributions include tutoring, fund raising, driving on field trips, charities, community projects and more.
