Ages: 2 1/2 years
To provide a successful transition into our
nursery school, Maimonides Academy offers
two identical kinds of programs for the toddler
(20-29 months) and parent(s) depending on
a parents schedule.
These two programs run concurrently and are
either on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,
or Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:45 a.m. to
11 a.m. Introduction to independent play,
art, circle time, and story time, helps foster
familiarity with the nursery school program.
Having mother close by secures the child and
provides a gradual easing into separation.
Grandparents or other close family members
are also welcome to participate. Our Transition
program successfully prepares the young child
by encouraging exploration and independence
within a secure and nurturing environment.
